A CROSSROADS OF CULTURE: A true crossroads of Mediterranean culture, Principi di Butera is an estate full of history and tradition. After years of effort, the estate has been restored to its original splendour to produce extraordinary wines IDEAL FOR VINES: The estate covers 320 hectares, of which 170 are planted with vines. The vineyards enjoy idyllic conditions nurtured with a coastal breeze to grow Nero d'Avola and Insolia grapes, used to create wines filled with sunshine AMÌRA: A flagship wine from Sicily, Amira is an Italian still red that uses 100% Nero d’Avola grapes cultivated in limestone-clay vineyards. The wines are aged in 30 and 60 hl Slavonian barrels for 12 months and then further bottle aged for a few months FRUIT-DRIVEN COMPLEXITY: Amìra is extremely aromatic with a fruit-driven profile. The nose features overtones of redberry fruit with spices, while the palate remains complex.
