Beyond The Darkness Original Soundtrack (LE Clear Purple Vinyl LP)
BTF
\""Omega Dark\"", two short and simple words that, both in the minds of Goblin fans and in that of horror/splatter cinema enthusiasts, evoke sounds and images of a legendary film. Directed in 1979 by Joe D'Amato, it still strikes today for the rawness and morbidity of its scenes, a trademark of a director who, much more than others, is suited to the term 'extreme'.\nThe soundtrack of the film, whose main ingredient are keyboards and synthesizers, moves between echoes of Alan Parsons Project, funk / fusion echoes and melancholic atmospheres. It was never officially released on the occasion of the film's theatrical release, and was finally released on CD by Cinevox Record in 1997 (CD MDF 304) and later in 2008 (CD MDF 631) with two completely different tracklists.\nGoblin are present here in an atypical line-up, in which the defectors Massimo Morante (guitar) and Claudio Simonetti (keyboards) were replaced respectively by Carlo Pennisi and Maurizio Guarini, who complete the line-up toget)
