Sandpaper roll 5 metres long, 115mm wide, so half a standard hand sanding sheet in width. Resin-bonded aluminium oxide abrasive for sanding wood, metal, paint, filler, varnish etc. on \""D\"" weight paper backing. Premium quality abrasive made in Italy by Imperial, not to be compared on price with cheap Chinese sandpaper rolls which are all over the Internet at attractive prices. The Chinese ones are probably fine when they come out of the factory, but the problem is they then spend weeks sitting around in the docks and on ships in unheated containers subject to all kinds of changes in temperature and humidity. This can damage the bond which holds the abrasive to the paper, leading to all the grit rapidly falling off when you try to use it, or the paper backing cracking or tearing much too easily.
