Handmade Mida ceiling light with a gemstone look The Mida ceiling light enhances the appearance of any room and shines like a jewel on the ceiling or the wall. When designing Mida, Adriano Rachele was inspired by high-quality gemstones with different surface textures and he brought these together in the Mida light in an invisible structure through magnetisation. The supposed gemstones, which are made entirely by hand from white Opalflex® and printed Lentiflex® with special shading and a silk effect, form a flower with shimmering and silky colours. Mida is fitted with three E27 bulbs, which emit their light through the unique structure of the lampshade and cast impressive effects onto the ceiling or the wall. Founded by Roberto Ziliani in 1992, the Italian lighting manufacturer Slamp produces the Mida light and pursues the vision of combining a high quality with meticulous craftsmanship and outstanding industrial production.
