The FR-5 F.L. LITE folding poles are crafted from aluminum, making them ideal for various outdoor activities such as ski mountaineering, hiking, snowshoeing, or splitboarding. They are perfect for experienced hikers tackling challenging multi-day trails and come highly recommended for mountain guides due to their advanced features and technologies. The Ergo Foam handle extends with a soft foam layer on top of the shaft, providing additional grip points. The Ergo Lite handle incorporates the patented T.C.S. (Automatic Top Click System) release system, enabling quick and easy strap adjustment and removal. By lifting and pulling out the wedge that locks the strap, the T.C.S. mechanism can be effortlessly operated. This system is convenient not only for adjustments but also for washing and replacing the strap. The rod consists of three parts, with diameters of 18, 16, and 14 mm, respectively. Wired technology allows the sections to be joined and folded through a simple button mechanism, keeping the plastic-coated steel cable running through the units either taut or loose as needed. When folded, the poles measure only 34 cm, making them compact and portable enough to fit inside a backpack. Additionally, the U-Lock system allows for the adjustment of the top section's length..
