Freely swivelling floor lamp Serpente - made in Italy The design of the Serpente floor lamp comes from the Italian lighting manufacturer Martinelli Luce and was penned by the world-famous designer and co-founder of the family business Elio Martinelli, who was always guided by Nature, simplicity and geometry in his designs (died 2004). He was also guided by his guiding principles when designing this light, resulting in a wonderfully unadulterated and pure look. The light is diffused wonderfully and glare-free into the surroundings by the lampshade made of high-quality methacrylate, creating an extremely pleasant ambience. A special feature is the frame, which allows the lampshade to be rotated and thus freely positioned. The lampshade can either be positioned in the centre above the base of the luminaire or swivelled freely across the floor.
