The Traditional Decorated Chaban Tray is a medium-sized wooden tea tray for the tea ceremony, the perfect choice for elegant home use, made of wood and with a sculpture that looks like an elaborate arabesque. The Chaban consists of two parts: one is the top lid, to hold the tea set and accessories, the second is the receptacle for collecting spilled tea. It can also be used to store small tea accessories such as cups, filters, small teapots and all Cha Dao accessories for the tea ceremony. It dries quickly and is moisture resistant, although we recommend emptying and allowing it to dry as soon as you finish using it. You can also take the tray with you to host a tea ceremony anywhere.
