A medium sweet sherry produced in Sanlucar de Barrameda, located on the Atlantic coast in the classic sherry producing region in Jerez, South West Spain. Serve with light caramel and toffee desserts like crème brulee. Owned by the Barbadillo family since 1821, 7 generations of family sherry production. Aged for 3 years in sherry butts (casks). The wine is sweetened with the sherry region's famous sweet wine made from sun raisened 'Pedro Ximenez' grapes. Bodegas Barbadillo are one of the worlds leading manzanilla producers. They have 12 bodegas spread across the ancient city of Sanlucar de Barrameda. These bodegas contain almost 30,000 butts of sherry. Tasting note: A sweet wine with a pale colour reminiscent of fino sherry with subtle brioche and dried fruit flavours on the palate and a hazlenut and almond finish.
