From Bodegas Verum, Ulterior Garnacha Parcela No 6 Organic 2020 is a Spanish red wine with a striking transparent peach-rose hue and an unusually layered style. Made from Garnacha and presented at 75cl, it combines the delicacy of its pale colour with notable concentration and complexity. The nose brings ripe cherries, rosehips and earthy, leafy woodland nuances, alongside a fresh apricot character. On the palate, it is succulent and rounded, with surprising body and very soft tannins. A long finish completes a wine that is drinking beautifully now and over the next three to four years. It is aged underground in large clay tinajas, reflecting an older Spanish approach to winemaking.
