Produced from recovered plant material at the estate’s trial farm in Fermoselle and grafted from a 60-year-old vineyard, it is a limited production wine with only 1,500 bottles made. The wine shows a character centred on red fruit, with cherry, raspberry and loganberry alongside leafy blackcurrant and fleshy black cherry. As it opens, notes of tobacco, leather and creamy cedar emerge, supported by a subtle earthy edge, hints of liquorice, and further layers of chocolate and hazelnut.
