A BLANK CANVAS HAS UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES: Included in this pack are four pre stretched canvases along with 8 wedges. Each canvas measures 40 x 30cm (15.75 x 11.81 inches). WOODEN WEDGES FOR DESIRED TENSION: Every set sold comes with 8 wooden wedges (also known as canvas keys or stretcher bar keys). These can be inserted and gently tapped with a hammer into the canvas bars on the back before or after painting. Wooden wedges can be used to finish the stretching of a canvas and to give it that last bit of tightening. READY TO USE WITH OIL & ACRYLIC PAINT: These canvas have been primed with 2 layers and are delivered pre stretched over a solid wooden frame, which is secured with staples. This ensures a neat, straight fit over the wood with the canvas material not bunching up on the frame at the back. The canvas is made of cotton. Each set comes wrapped in a thin layer of plastic to ensure the canvas stay white and pristine whilst in transit. SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS & EXPERTS: This set is appropriate to be used by beginners or even expert artists. With two extra large canvas boards it makes them extraordinary value for your next art class. As well as being used with oil and acrylic paint they can also be used for sketching and drawing too.
