Anubias barteri var. nana is the most popular Anubias in the hobby and one of the most widely kept aquarium plants overall. The small, glossy oval leaves are immediately recognisable, and its tolerance of almost any aquarium condition makes it a go-to choice for beginners and experienced aquarists alike.\nNo CO2 required, grows well in low light, and attaches to wood or rock rather than being planted into substrate. Growth is slow but dependable, and the plant spreads gradually across whatever surface it's fixed to. It flowers readily in aquariums, producing small white spathes. Shrimp and most fish leave it completely alone.\nRemove from the pot and fix the rhizome to wood or rock using thread or aquarium-safe superglue. Never bury the rhizome in substrate.
