Victron Energy Temperature Sensor for Victron Energy Quattro, MultiPlus inverter/chargers and also Compatible with Victron Energy GX devices (Cerbo GX, Venus GX, etc) This is a spare part to suit a range of Victron inverters and inverter charges that have a dedicated temperature sensing input The Victron temperature sensor connects directly to either pole of the battery and monitors the temperature of the battery bank The temperature measurement is used to adjust battery capacity to temperature (which is extremely important to prolong battery life) The available battery capacity decreases with temperature, the inverter will also vary the charge current based on temperature
