The Boston VSC-57-MWH single-coil pickup slots right into the middle position of any ST-style guitar. Nicknamed the Vintage 57, this model has a reversed polarity to counter unwanted noise and deliver the sparkling cleans expected of a single-coil. The Alnico 5 magnet core packs a little more punch than a standard Alnico magnet and it's worth noting that Boston have used a waxed formfar coil, cotton-isolated wiring and a classic white cover to finish this affordable upgrade.
