This five-string bass is part of Cort's Artisan Series and has been finished with 24 frets and a 15.75-inch fretboard radius to guarantee a supple playing feel for smooth bass line slinging. The Artisan C5 Deluxe: Active Preamp by Markbass Featuring a stable MetalCraft M5 bridge, the C5 Deluxe wields a robust core sound with the mid-range presence needed for punchy notes. As soon as the bass is plugged into an amp, the Bartolini MK-1 soapbar pickups in the bridge and middle position fire up to deliver wide-ranging tone that can then be dialled in as preferred thanks to the Markbass MB-1 preamp and the extensive tone controls it supplies.
