Unlike its siblings, the \u201COrient and Ostend Express\u201D, it traveled through the whole of Austria in a west-east direction. Over time, the train increasingly transformed into an international train with through coaches. In addition to the Vienna \u2013 Paris train line, the train had numerous through coaches, e.g. to the Salzkammergut and from there to Salzburg, where they left the train again.
