The Korsteel Eggbutt Bradoon Snaffle's rings are smaller than the average eggbutt or loose ring bit. The mouthpiece is also slimmer and lighter, as this bit is commonly used with a curb bit, such as a Weymouth, to make up a pair of double bridle bits. The eggbutt rings keeps the bit more still in the horse's mouth than a loose ring bit, which can encourage the horse to take a better contact. Likewise, these bits can be used on their own on horses who do not have a lot of room in their mouths or who have small, neat heads. This bit is dressage legal....
