The sensor gets the surface roughnessby the sharp built-in probe. This roughness causesdisplacement of the probe which results in change ofinductive amount of induction coils so as to generateanalogue signal, which is in proportion to the surfaceroughness at output end of phase-sensitive rectifier. The exclusive DSP processes and calculates and thenoutputs the measurement results on LCD.
