ADJUSTABLE POSITIONING BLOCKS: Individual units adjust to any size between 1/64" and 1-1/16" with 1/64" accuracy. QUICK ADJUSTMENT AND PRECISION LOCK: Set precise heights with the adjustable setup block in three easy steps. Press the Quick Adjust button to slide the datum up or down to the specified height. Use the trimmer to adjust to the exact size, then tighten the locking knob. Dual scales provide height/depth settings: The "top" scale measures the height from the bottom of the base to the top of the datum plate. Use it to set the distance between the bottom of the drill and the drill press table. The "Bottom" scale measures the distance from the bottom of the base to the bottom of the reference plate. It is for adjusting the height of a router bit or the depth of cut on a table saw. The two scales offer you a wide variety of applications. MATERIAL: The base and datum plate are carefully machined from solid aluminium alloy with an anodised surface. The adjusting screw shaft is made of high grade stainless steel. The engraved scales have a cumulative tolerance of 0.004".
