Our Sauvignon Blanc comes largely from vineyards planted on the Wairau Valley floor, where the climate and free-draining gravelly soils are perfect for Sauvignon Blanc. This includes the Estate, Motukawa, Widows, Red Shed, and Mustang vineyards ON THE EYES: Light and crisp in colour ON THE NOSE: enticing aromas of ripe honeydew melon, passion fruit, citrus and a touch of fresh blackcurrant leaf ON THE PALATE: The wine is concentrated and elegant on the palate, with hints of fresh sea air balancing out the warmth of the ripe fruit flavours. Subtle tropical fruit characters are underpinned by refreshing notes of makrut lime, lemongrass, lemon and a touch of grapefruit skin FOOD PAIRING: Fresh, simply prepared shellfish & crustaceans
