The round pH probe is completely waterproof\nand less fragile than all-glass electrodes. You are completely immersed in the\nnutrient solution to get readings. Regular cleaning can extend the life of the\nmeasuring instruments. Each pH electrode forms a wafer-thin film in aqueous\nsolutions on the sensor that increases after prolonged use. Always keep the pH\nprobe moist to prevent permanent damage and increase the service life. Put the\nprotective cap back on after each use. Never store electrodes in distilled\nwater and always re-calibrate the device after cleaning.
