A 25g tub of Potassium Sorbate by Handcraft Supplies. \nHandcraft Supplies Wine Stabiliser contains potassium sorbate which is used in winemaking to preserve wines prior to bottling and/or clearing to preserve the wine and stop secondary fermentation when used in conjunction with sodium metabisulphite.\nThis item contains 25 g Potassium Sorbate in a tamper proof and resealable tub. \nFollow the instructions on the label: for preserving dry wines, use 0.5g (approximately one tenth of a teaspoon) per 4.5 litres of liquid. For sweeter wines, use 1g (approximately one fifth of a teaspoon) per 4.5 litres of liquid. Add prior to clarification and/or bottling and mix well. It is recommended to use Potassium Sorbate in homebrewing in conjunction with sodium metabisulphite.
