Trumpeter 1/72 JS-3M Stalin\nSoviet Heavy Tank\n20mm Scale\nBrand new, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : TU07228 \n\nThe JS-3 Stalin was a further development of the successful JS-2 which had increased armour protection, a new front glacis plate and a new mushroom carapace shaped turret giving an overall lower silhouette.\nThe new bow shaped glacis plate earned the JS-3 the nickname of the \""Pike\"". Crewed by 4 men the JS-3 was armed with a D-25 L/43 122mm gun. Secondary armament was a 7.62mm bow MG and a 12.7mm AA MG. \nIn addition to service in the last months of WWII the JS-3 also served in Korea. The JS-3M was a slight modernisation of the JS-3 in the early 1960s.\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
