The Odd Egg By Emily Gravett. 9780230014916

First edition, first printing hardback edition of an early book by Kate Greenaway medal winner Gravett.\n\nThis includes a limited edition print, as shown in images. \nThe\n print was only available through Waterstones shops. There were not very\n many published as far as I am aware. I worked in Waterstones at the \ntime of publication, and the branch in which I worked received only two \nor three copies, which would seem to imply only a few hundred copies in \ntotal. I cannot find any reference to the print online. \nThe\n print  has never \nbeen opened from its plastic sleeve, which remains gummed to the first inside page.\n\nOverall, the book is in very good condition, with a few faults. There is a light indent line on rear boards, a small rub mark to one of the pages and some tiny spot marks to another, and slight marking to the cloth of the spine. The sewn binding at the front of the book is slightly marked in places. Where the print is gummed on to the front page.
