Hackney, That Rose-Red Empire by Iain Sinclair Signed First Edition

Being offered is a signed hardback UK first edition, first impression of Iain Sinclair's Hackney, That Rose-Red Empire, published by Hamish Hamilton in 2009.\nIf you look at photo 5 and then photo 6, the areas my fingers indicate, I think the paler areas have faded rather than this being how it was meant to be printed.\nPhoto 7 shows the inner front end flap is slightly curled, this is because it must have been used as a kind of book mark, see photo 8, Being used as a book mark in this way did however slow down the inevitable tanning of the pages caused by the cheap paper stock used by the publisher. The covered area being less exposed to the atmosphere has tanned less than the uncovered area, see photo 9.\nPhoto 10 shows there is some slight rubbing to the top corner of the dustjacket , it looks like there was a sicker there that has been removed.\nPhoto 11 shows the bottom right hand corner of the spine of the dustjacket is heavily rubbed. This is because the corner has been bumped.
