First British edition thus; first published in the US in 1958, and first published in the US in an omnibus edition of 1970. Publisher\u2019s navy cloth lettered in gilt to spine, in the dust jacket designed by David Hardy. A very good copy, the cloth clean and bright, the binding tight and a trifle rolled. Faint spots to top edge and a few others elsewhere, but clean. The dust jacket unclipped with publisher\u2019s price sticker to front flap, small tear at the front flap edge, and gently rubbed and a trifle nicked at extremities, but a sharp copy overall.
