Where Poppies Grow Quilts and Projects Honoring Those Who Served in World War 1

Denniele Bohannon and Janice Britz have joined forces to create The Kansas City Star\u2019s block-of-the-month quilt, 'Remembering Almo', to honour those who served their country during World War I.\nDenniele\u2019s great-grandfather Almo O\u2019Kell served as a medic during World War I and was one of the many soldiers who never came home. Along with each beautiful block pattern, you get a little peek into O\u2019Kell\u2019s life as a soldier. Two-colour variations and setting options are given for the main quilt. Other projects are included as well. Three more striking quilts, two variations of a table runner and a sweet poppy pin and pincushion round out the projects offered.
