Valhalla, perhaps more widely known as the heaven of the Norse Gods, was the place to go for records for a generation of young people between 1993 and 2011. If you\u2019re older, you might recall Utilitarium, which later became Lewis\u2019s or when Hector McDonald\u2019s camera shop was in John Finnie Street. Some shops had been in business for decades before going the way of all flesh; others, like T4 Toys, were short-lived. Included are many casualties of the last 30 years, including Woolworth\u2019s, David Wishart, P & R Torbet, A & A Riddick, Mothercare and more. But wipe your tears away as some long-established Killie names are still trading, including Kev\u2019s Cards.
