He then taught in\nthe Fine Art, Architecture, and Foundation departments, specialising in figure\ndrawing, initially at Thanet School of Art and later at Canterbury College of\nArt, while at the same time producing a huge number of drawings and paintings.\nHis enormous energy, his optimism, and his festive temperament inspired all\nthose he taught and his constant pursuit of excellence underpinned his life\u2019s\nwork.
