Beginning in Tokyo, Arneill traveled from Hokkaido to Okinawa, documenting beloved jazz caf\u00E9s and jazz bars across Japan. Among the legendary venues he visited are BASIE in Iwate, jazz spot YAMATOYA in Kyoto, Eagle and Chokuritsu Enjin in Tokyo, and Down Beat in Kanagawa.\nThese spaces, where jazz lovers listen intently and sometimes share their passion, represent a uniquely Japanese cultural phenomenon. Living in Japan, Arneill was captivated by their atmosphere and significance.\n\nIn 2015, together with his friend and collaborator, American broadcast journal.
