First To Fight 1/72 Hotchkiss H35 Light Tank (Late Version)\n\nFrench Light Tank\n\n20mm Scale\n\nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : FTF085\n\nThe Hotchkiss H35 was developed by the French in 1933 and entered service in 1936. Initially designed as an infantry tank its all terrain handling was poor and it was rejected by infantry units. However, the H35 was accepted by cavalry units. The H35 had a crew of two, commander and driver. It was armed with the 37mm SA18 gun with 100 rounds and a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun. Later vehicles mounted the longer, more powerful, 37mm SA38 gun.\n\nBy the start of WWII , 640 Hotchkiss had been delivered. The H35 serverd alongside Somua S35 tanks. After the fall of France, the Germans captured around 550 Hotchkiss and these were used in a number of roles from internal security to training as well as some vehicles seeing service against the Allied landings in Operation Torch in North Africa in 1942.\n\nAfter WW2 the French continueg
