First To Fight 1/72 Renault YS Command Tank\n\nFrench Light Command Tank\n\n20mm Scale\n\nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : FTF127\n\nThe Renault AMR35 Type ZT (Automitrailleuse de Reconnaissance Renault Mod\u00E8le 35 Type ZT) was produced between 1936 and 1939 and, despite its name, was developed as a light tank to support infantry units not a reconnaissance tank. It was armed with a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun and later a 13.2mm Hotchkiss machine gun. Subsequent variants were developed as anti tank versions.\n\nThe Renault YS was a command tank variant of the AMR35 with a large superstructure added and no turret. The superstructure was fitted with radio equipment. The vehicle had a crew of 4 - 2 radio operators, a driver and a commander. Ten Renault YS were produced and allocated to Cavalry, Infantry and Tank units.
