You're a waitress at a diner and you're about to serve a plate of freshly made waffles to your favorite client: Esther. When you get to the table, Esther is gone. You wonder why he's just gone, so you decide to find out where he's gone and hand him his breakfast. Waffles for Esther is a daily role-playing game. You will play alone and you will do it by writing down the actions you take. Collect a set of 4, 8, 10 and 12 sided dice, a coin and a poker deck as well as paper and something to write on. You will visit the different locations, following the map of the town, to find clues while facing the complications that your decisions entail. You have two skills: Detective and Waitress. You assign 1d10 to one and 1d12 to another. It's the dice you'll throw when you use them. Depending on the outcome of the roll, this dice will be reduced in size, thus worsening your confidence and your ability to face new challenges (mechanics inspired by Breahtless, by René-Pier Deshaies). During the investigation, you will tour the village locations, test your skills for clues and complications arise. There will come a time when you think you have enough clues to decipher Esther's sudden disappearance: write a hypothesis and face the deduction roll. The die starts at a d0, and will increase depending on the number of tracks.
