British author Arthur Conan Doyle's collection of short stories titled The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes was originally released in the latter part of 1893 under the year 1894. It was first released by G. Newnes Ltd. in the UK and Harper & Brothers in the US in February 1894. Following The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, it was the second anthology to feature the consulting detective Sherlock Holmes. It featured Sidney Paget's illustrations, the same as the first.
