These discs are made from genuine 50 Duro Sorbothane (beware of imitations) which is probably the greatest vibration absorbing material known to man.\n\nThe discs are 38mm in diameter and 4mm thick. As they are of\na flat profile (not domed) they are brilliant for placing between loudspeakers\nand stands to prevent vibration being transmitted to the stand - which can\ncolour the sound dramatically - without allowing too much 'rocking' movement\nfrom front to back. They are also excellent for placing on the plastic feet of\nelectronic components all of which will benefit from isolation.
