Perhaps surprisingly, Paiste's popular 2002 cymbal series was developed back in 1971! The Extreme crash cymbals in the series are specially made for heavier styles of music and produce plenty of volume when they're hit hard. They're made of B8 bronze and have a heavy weight with lots of grooves and hammer patterns for a warm sound with an explosive attack and a long sustain that means your accents will cut through even the noisiest of mixes. This model is 18-inches in diameter and, like the other 2002 Extreme Crash cymbals, it's made in Switzerland.
