This is the Suhr Thornbucker II Humbucker Bridge 50mm. This is a Pete Thorn signature hot PAF-style 9.1 kOhm bridge element, intended particularly for electric solidbody guitars but also pairs well with thinline semi-acoustic guitars with a centreblock. Pete and Suhr specially designed this pickup just extra windings to give you that tougher sound variation on those classic Patent Applied For guitar pickups from the 70s and 80s. The basic sound of this II version is still powerful and warm with a bright high, but thanks to the Alnico 2, these trebles are given a pleasant sweetness at even the higher gain levels and never sound too shrill.
