The Visaton TIW 250 XS - 8 Ohm is a 25 cm (10-inch) high-end woofer specifically designed for maximum low-frequency performance. Thanks to the extra-wide elastic suspension, long voice coil, and a hefty magnet, this speaker delivers an extremely long excursion. The design is optimised: several vents in basket and pole pieces minimise flow noise and losses. The voice coil on capton carrier can handle hefty powers (200 watts RMS / 300 watts max.), and thanks to the sandwich construction of glass fibre and polyester, the diaphragm is particularly low in resonance. This translates into very precise, deep and accurate bass reproduction with an SPL of 89 dB (1W/1m) and a range from 33 Hz, depending on the cabinet.
