DETAIL After the D.145, the D.141, a few years older, is a new model of an Italian shunting locomotive. The D.141 are Diesel-electric locomotives from the Ferrovie dello Stato Italian (FS). The D.141 locomotives consist of a two-carriage chassis on which two foreparts and a paracentral driver's cab are mounted, which is rather moved towards the rear of the chassis. Perfectly bidirectional, the D.141 proved to be up to the task of freight services between a main airport and plants, ports, and other secondary ports of call. The locomotive from the Expert series also represents the latest technical status, so there is a PluX22 interface that makes retrofitting a decoder child's play.
