The Warwick EMP Coated 38301 M 5B Nickel-Plated Steel Low B 45-135 string set gives your 5-string electric bass guitar (with low B) a wide and warm sound. The strings have nickel-plated steel windings around a hexagonal core wire and diameters from .045 to .130 inches. They were treated with a special coating that repels dirt and sweat so that corrosion is less likely to occur. So the strings last longer and also stay sounding like new. The windings of the low B string are slightly thinner at the bridge, giving the string more room to vibrate and also keeping the action pleasantly low.
