The Warwick EMP Coated 38400 ML 6 Nickel-Plated Steel 20-130 string set is suitable for 6-string electric bass guitar. The strings have a hexagonal core wire with roundwound windings of nickel-plated steel around it. This creates a nice and full sound with a tight midrange but also deep lows. This set has also been treated with a special protective coating that prevents corrosion so that the strings last longer and also stay sounding like new. The low B string is taperwound, so it's slightly thinner at the bridge so it's not too high and there's also more room for it to vibrate (which in turn makes for a better sound).
