The OMLED OLED f2 floor lamp is part of the world's first luminaire family to use the pioneering OLED. The organic, light-emitting Diode combines many economic and ecological advantages. The bulb consists of thin layers of organic, semi-conducting materials sandwiched between two conductive layers that emit light as long as current is flowing. The OMLED One luminaire series was manufactured using a completely new technology. The Glas housing of the light is simultaneously the circuit board, control element and heat sink, with the upper disc serving as the circuit board. An optimum combination of function and reduced use of materials. In this innovative process, developed and patented in Germany, conductor tracks, electronic components, contacts and a circuit for dimming the light are applied to the high-quality Glas. This makes a conventional plastic circuit board superfluous and the light can be designed to be very flat. The OMLED One f2 floor lamp was manufactured in Germany.
