It is made of high-quality Glas and is divided into three square sections in which the OLED technology has been applied. The material glass plays a key role in the production process, as glass is a material that has been used for thousands of years and has an almost unlimited lifespan, made from high-quality raw materials that are found in unlimited quantities in Nature. This pioneering technology was developed and patented in Germany and the OMLED One luminaire range is the first luminaire range in the world to be equipped with this technology. All the lights in this range are manufactured in Germany and the OMLED One OLED range combines many ecological and economic advantages. The Glas housing of the light is a circuit board, heat sink and control element at the same time; the upper disc serves as a circuit board on which all the electronic components, conductor tracks and a circuit for dimmable operation have been applied. This eliminates the need for a conventional plastic circuit board and allows the lights to be designed very flat. The organic LEDs are characterised by UV- and IR-free light and provide a clear, glare-free, warm white light for a cosy atmosphere.
