Perennial herb with an orange scent. Attractive ornamental plant and a wonderfully aromatic herb with a zesty citrus twist. This low-growing, evergreen thyme forms a neat mound of tiny leaves and delicate pink flowers in summer.Sow: February to MayHarvest: June to SeptemberSowingAlmost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in warmth (10–15°C) and keep moist.Growing OnKeep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant to 5cm apart into trays of potting compost, or individually into small pots.AdvicePick leaves or sprigs often to encourage young new growth.
