These CE marked Grade 11 ball bearing hinges featuring a polished brassfinish and are suitable for standard doors & fire doors with a combined mass of up to 80kg. These fire door hinges are suitable for both FD30 & FD60 fire doors. These 102mm ball bearing hinges are CE marked and tested to BS EN 1935:2006 and manufactured from 2.7mm thick stainless steel and measure 4"(102mm) long by 3"(76mm) wide when fully open. This set of 4" ball bearing hinges are supplied as a set of 3 complete with matching brass screws. These brass hinges are suitable for internal applications only, three hinges must be fitted to all fire rated doors. To extend the working life of these polished brass ball bearing hinges, an occasional clean with a spray polish is recommended. We would also advise that once a year hinges are treated with a WD40 type oil, this will also increase the lifetime of the hinge. After initial installation subsequent oiling there may be slight oil seepage which should be cleaned off immediately with a dry cloth. In order to fully comply with BS EN 1935:2002 it is recommended that when these ball bearing hinges are fitted to a fire door they should be bedded on 2mm intumescent pads (both hinge leaves)., Manufacturer: Architectural Hardware
