Well, it's a '2 Year Old Australian Single Malt Whisky' by Aus regulations, where maturation rates are faster due to being largely subtropical. But alas, here we are in the distinctly temperate climate of the UK, and three years is the minimum age for a whisky, so a malt spirit this is. The folks at That Boutique-y Malt Company decided a spirit by any other name smells (and tastes) just as delicious in this case, especially seeing as it's been matured in a first fill Tawny cask (that's an Australian fortified wine similar to Port). This limited bottling joins its Return to Oz collection, and features a blue ringed octopus on the label.Batch 1 is a release of 232 bottles.
