Marshalls Garden Strawberry 'Sweetheart' produces bumper crops of large, sweet, juicy fruits with superb flavour. This early main-season, heavy-cropping perennial fruits from early June to mid July and is ideal for pots, patios, raised beds and small gardens. Compact plants can be planted more densely than other varieties and offer excellent resistance to powdery mildew and Verticillium wilt, making them low-maintenance for home growers. Best grown in fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter (pH 5.5-6.8); typical height 0.1-0.5m.
