Aubrieta 'Purple Cascade' F1 Hybrid produces vibrant purple blooms that smother the trailing foliage. The cascading habit makes this variety perfect for containers and edging paths and the flowers appear early for a bold spring display of colour that is sure to draw the attention of onlookers.Sow from late winter to early summer in a good free draining seed compost just covering the seed. Make sure the compost is moist and not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days at 18C (65F).Transplant when large enough to handle into boxes and then 7.5cm (3in) pots.
