The Actiasbee National cedar beehive is a complete flat pack hive kit designed for beekeepers looking to build and manage a traditional National hive setup. Manufactured from durable cedar wood, the hive offers natural weather resistance and is suitable for long-term outdoor use.Supplied flat packed for ease of transport and storage, the hive includes all the main structural components required to assemble a working hive. The setup includes a brood box and two super boxes, providing space for colony development and honey storage.All boxes are fitted with metal runners, helping to protect the wood and improve durability when inserting and removing frames. The hive also features a Varroa mesh floor with a slide-out inspection tray, allowing for monitoring of pests and debris.An entrance block with summer and winter settings is included to help regulate hive access throughout the seasons. The kit also includes a queen excluder, a crown board with cut-outs for porter bee escapes, and a 4" roof with an aluminium cover for added weather protection.Assembly is required, and full instructions are provided.Please note: Frames and wax foundation sheets are not included and must be purchased separately.
