AROMATIC - Sage is an attractive, drought-tolerant, easy-to-grow shrubby plant with aromatic, evergreen leaves that are often soft and downy. It also produces pretty flowers in mid to late Summer. TIP: Avoid planting Sage in close proximity to Rosemary. These plants do not 'get on' and may cause the Sage to struggle.PLANTING POSITION - This plant likes a sunny position sheltered from the wind. It does prefer light, well drained, slightly chalky (alkaline) soil.HEIGHT AND SPREAD - This plant will grow to a height of 0.5-1 metres with a spread of 1-1.5 metres.
